The Packers’ defense has encountered its fair share of challenges this season. However, when they manage to push their opponents into third-down and red-zone scenarios, they’ve displayed commendable resilience.

In terms of third-down conversions, opponents are only succeeding about a third of the time against the Packers, placing Green Bay 10th in the NFL in this regard. The crucial aspect here is creating more of these situations in the first place, as rivals frequently find success on first and second downs.

Furthermore, the Packers maintain a “bend but don’t break” mentality in the red zone, ranking 12th in terms of preventing opponents from scoring touchdowns in this area. This is a positive foundation, and the challenge now is to extend this resilience to all phases of the game.
