Future of the Pack: Ranking Packers Top 25 Players Under 25 After Four Games
The Green Bay Packers are currently the NFL’s spring chickens, embracing youth like no other team in the league this season. Now, this youth movement has had its ups and downs, as you might expect, but it’s also injected a good dose of excitement into the future of the Pack.
Adding to the enthusiasm is the 2023 draft class that’s brimming with potential. It’s like the cherry on top of the cake, blending seamlessly with the other young talents the Packers have cultivated over the past few seasons. To give you the lowdown on this promising bunch, here’s a ranking of the Packers’ top 25 players who are still under the tender age of 25 based on how they’ve performed through the first four games of the season (and not a projection of future production).
Here is a ranking of the Green Bay Packers top 25 players under 25 years old after their first four games of the 2023 NFL season.
25. Anthony Johnson (23)
Johnson has yet to suit up for a Packers game this season, but the fact he made the roster over Tarvarius Moore is a good start to his career. He may not get an opportunity to play this season, but Green Bay’s safety position is nebulous at best, and who knows what the future may hold.
24. Brenton Cox (23)
Cox has also been buried on the inactive list, appearing in only one game this season. It’s unlikely he gets many opportunities this season behind the likes of Rashan Gary, Preston Smith, Kingsley Enagbare, Justin Hollins and Lukas Van Ness.
23. Emanuel Wilson (24)
With Aaron Jones battling an injury, Emanuel Wilson has suited up for two games. He hasn’t gotten much of an opportunity, racking up only five carries for 11 yards and one reception for six more.
22. Malik Heath (23)
Heath has been active for three games, but has yet to secure a reception despite seeing four targets. With Christian Watson returning, his active status on gameday is in jeopardy as long as the Packers are at full health.
21. Isaiah McDuffie (24)
With De’Vondre Campbell suffering an ankle injury, McDuffie was thrust into a starting role for the Packers over the last two weeks. He hasn’t been spectacular, but hasn’t been a liability either. His biggest asset still lies in his special teams abilities.
