Packers Notebook: Final Thoughts About Saints Game
Final Thoughts: Packers Offense
Running Game: Speaking of the run game, Green Bay has some work to do on offense. AJ Dillon has been awful to begin the season and could be the lead back of Aaron Jones isn’t able to go. However, the offensive line has also struggled to create holes and must be better up front. Jordan Love isn’t ready to do the heavy lifting quite yet, and needs this aspect to step up.
Patrick Taylor: Taylor was elevated from the practice squad for the third time on Saturday, meaning the Packers must sign him to the 53-man roster if they wish for him to be active on game day in the future. What will they do with the running back and special teams ace?
Playmakers: Love has been impressive in his first two games, but LaFleur needs to dial up some easier passes for him. Hopefully, Green Bay gets Jones and Christian Watson back for this game. Even if they’re limited, their playmaking ability will go a long way to help Love and the rest of this Packers’ offense against a stout Saints’ D.
