Packers Defense Allows 13 Points

The Packers’ defense is coming into this game with a chip on its shoulder, eager to wash away the bitter taste of the last outing where they were run ragged by Bijan Robinson and the Falcons. They’re looking at the Saints and their somewhat uninspiring offense as the perfect opportunity to right that wrong.

Let’s put things into perspective here: New Orleans has hardly been lighting up the scoreboard, ranking a rather lowly 25th in the NFL with a modest 18 points per game over the first couple of weeks. Well, I’ve got news for you, folks. That number is about to take a nosedive following their clash with Green Bay. The Saints might be eyeing the Packers’ defense, particularly the middle, to make some headway and exploit the vulnerabilities they exhibited last week. But, hold on to your hats because the Packers, spurred on by their recent frustrations, are having none of it. They’ll slam the door on the run game, establish a lead early, and stymie the Saints, holding them to a meager 13 points.
