Packers’ Internal Options:

Zach Tom

Tom stayed at right tackle after Jenkins went down, but that could have something to do with Bakhtiari being out as well. If Bakhtiari returns, it’s a possibility Rasheed Walker or Yosh Nijman will start at right tackle, kicking Tom to left guard.

Royce Newman

Newman replaced Jenkins and was fine in pass protection, but struggled in the running game. He’s been underwhelming since his rookie campaign and could be pushed in practice this week to step up his game.

Sean Rhyan

If it’s not Newman who starts at guard, Sean Rhyan would be the next man up. He had a dismal rookie campaign, but has made strides in Year 2. It doesn’t look like he’s ready to be a starter yet, but he’s the next-best option on the Packers current 53-man roster.

Michael Jordan

The Packers just signed Michael Jordan to the practice squad last week and the timing couldn’t have been better. Jordan has started 29 games in the NFL and could be a promotion candidate on gameday or even be elevated to the roster if Jenkins ends up on the injured reserve.
