Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (11) pulls down a touchdown reception against New England Patriots cornerback Shaun Wade (26) during their preseason football game Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis.Dan Powers/USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin. /

Jayden Reed has 100 Receiving Yards for Packers

The Packers received a huge blow when Christian Watson was ruled out for the game on Friday with a hamstring injury. Green Bay’s offense was much better with him on the field last year, thanks to his explosive playmaking ability with the rock in his hands and the room he gives other receivers to operate underneath.

In his absence, it will be

Romeo Doubs

Jayden Reed who steps up and becomes Love’s go-to receiver. Doubs seems like the obvious choice, but the Bears’ defense will zero in on him and force Love to look elsewhere. That’s where Reed comes in. He’s gotten open all preseason and will continue to do so against an underwhelming Chicago secondary. Look for the rookie to make his mark early and often from the slot.
