Packers Set to Shine: Rasul Douglas

We’re all aware of Jaire Alexander’s outstanding abilities, as he strives to establish himself as the NFL’s premier cornerback in 2023. But let’s take a moment to appreciate the Packers’ other outside cornerback, Rasul Douglas.

Douglas had an exceptional training camp, effectively shutting down receivers all over the field and making sure they knew it. His unwavering confidence in defending against the NFL’s top receivers is a significant asset for Green Bay’s defense.

Douglas is already playing with an eye on his future contract; Green Bay could save $6.5 million next season by parting ways with him. This hunger to demonstrate his value and worthiness is evident, and he seems primed to shine, asserting that Alexander isn’t the sole star cornerback in Green Bay.
