Josh Myers finds himself as one of five Green Bay Packers on thin ice entering the 2023 NFL season due to several factors that have raised concerns about his ability to anchor the offensive line effectively.

Meyer’s has been inconsistent in pass protection and run blocking throughout his career, especially recently. These issues need to be addressed, especially in a system that will rely heavily on the offensive line to support young quarterback Jordan Love (Also, what is going on with all the snapping issues during training camp?)

Here are five players on the Green Bay Packers who are on thin ice as the 2023 NFL season is set to kick-off.

Despite lacking a true backup center, Green Bay tried a couple of different throughout the preseason in Jon Runyan and Zach Tom. Tom, specifically, looks poised to move to center if Myers continues to struggle, bumping Yosh Nijman into the starting unit at right tackle.

In a season where stability on the offensive line is crucial, Josh Myers must elevate his game and prove he can be the reliable center the Packers need. Any further struggles or injuries could jeopardize his standing with the team.

Let’s check out four other Packers who are on thin ice entering the season.
