What the Packers can expect from the Bears this year
By Todd Welter
The Green Bay Packers kick off the 2023 season against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
The Jordan Love era starts against the team that his predecessor, Aaron Rodgers, owned. The Bears are hoping for their rivals to finally see bad quarterback play for the first time since 1992.
Packers fans are hoping Love can continue the domination Green Bay has enjoyed over their oldest rival.
One thing is for certain, Bears fans will either be crowing or crying when the game ends.

What can the Green Bay Packers expect to see from a Bears team that finished 3-14 last season?
First, quarterback Justin Fields is hoping to show he has improved in the passing game. The Pack saw firsthand how explosive of a playmaker Fields can be when he ran for a 55-yard touchdown last season.
The Packers also saw that Fields was not good at throwing the ball last season. He had one of his worst games throwing last year at Lambeau Field when he completed just seven passes for 70 yards.
Bears’ general manager Ryan Poles wants to see Fields improve in the passing game for the team to commit to him long-term. Now Fields is not bad at passing like Mitchell Trubisky.
Trubisky had poor footwork, poor accuracy, and could not read defenses.
Fields needs to process faster, get the ball out of his hand quicker, and hit his checkdowns. The offensive line in front of Fields was poor last year, but Fields took a lot of sacks as he held onto the ball too long because he needed to see his wide receiver open.
