Best Kept Secrets On Packers: Kinglsey Enagbare

After having some of the worst outside linebacker depth in the NFL last year, the Packers are suddenly well-positioned for both this season and the long term. And, no, it’s not (solely) due to the selection of Lukas Van Ness in the first round of this year’s draft.

It’s actually been Kingsley Enagbare, a fifth-rounder in 2022, who has emerged as the most promising prospect for the upcoming season. Enagbare was an animal coming off the edge during the preseason, showing no issues getting after quarterbacks and bringing them down.

He’ll likely begin the season as the Packers’ no. 3 outside linebacker, a position that will get plenty of playing time rotating in with Preston Smith and Rashan Gary, the latter of whom is on a “pitch count” entering the season. If Enagbare plays well during the season, he could position himself to be a starter next season if Smith’s play begins declining.
