8 Packers In The Offensive Spotlight For Preseason Finale
The Green Bay Packers have one final preseason game to prepare for the regular season and determine who will make their initial 53-man roster. That means we have one more opportunity to spotlight key players in the last exhibition action before the games begin to count.
Looking across the offensive landscape, tight end has some of the most significant questions that must be answered this season. Green Bay used two high draft picks on Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft and are thrusting them into prominent roles during their rookie season, whether they like it or not.
While Musgrave has been impressive, Kraft has disappeared for long stretches. He has the second-worst PFF grade through two preseason games (ahead of only Alex McGough, who has only taken seven snaps). Green Bay is looking for him to contribute in all phases, and it’s important he shows he’s up for the task.
Keep your eye on these key offensive players on the Green Bay Packers, who will be thrust into the offensive spotlight during their preseason finale.
Austin Allen is another tight end worth monitoring. Green Bay has no other options on their roster and all signs are pointing toward them keeping Allen. If that’s the case, I would love to see him continue to block well and even catch a pass or two.
Let’s keep moving through the roster to spotlight some other offensive players for the Packers’ preseason finale.
