Inside linebacker (5): De’Vondre Campbell, Quay Walker, Isaiah McDuffie, Eric Wilson, Tariq Carpenter

Cut: Jimmy Phillips Jr.

This is as cut and dry as it gets for the Packers. Campbell and Walker, when healthy, are the unquestioned starters. They present a nice blend of the present (Campbell) and the future (Walker) for Green Bay.

McDuffie and Wilson are special teams aces who will contribute significantly on those units. They’ll only be asked to play defense if something goes wrong with Campbell or Walker. Carpenter presents intrigue as an inside linebacker and safety combo. It’s worth keeping him around for another year to see how he develops.
