Running back (2): Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon

Cut: Patrick Taylor, Tyler Goodson, Emanuel Wilson, Lew Nichols III, Nate McCrary

Green Bay did it last year and could very well do it again. Keeping just two running backs on the roster allows them to add flexibility at other positions, especially considering there are few to no carries available when both Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon are healthy.

If they go with three, it will very likely be Patrick Taylor. He’s a solid pass-blocker and standout special teams player–both assets Green Bay has openly acknowledged they want in their third running back (Tyler Goodson’s injury didn’t do him any favors). Taylor could make the roster if they don’t feel like they can sneak him onto the practice squad again.
