Packers Who Have Gone Missing: Dontayvion Wicks

The Packers seem to be positioning themselves well for the future of their wide receiver corps. Second-year players Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs are displaying positive signs of progress, while rookie Jayden Reed is exhibiting steady improvement with each passing day. Additionally, promising talents like Samori Toure and Malik Heath contribute to the team’s depth at this position.

However, it’s worth noting that while Dontayvion Wicks has shown promise in preseason action, he hasn’t consistently translated that potential into standout performances during practice. With three receptions for 68 yards on 18 routes run in the preseason, Wicks has demonstrated glimpses of his ability. But as of now, he hasn’t maintained that level of performance consistently, putting him at WR6 in the pecking order behind the previously mentioned players if the season were to begin today
