Packers Trying To Ignite Career: Tarvarius Moore

Tarvarius Moore came to Green Bay, in part, for the opportunity to start at safety alongside Darnell Savage. And through a few weeks of training camp and one preseason game, that is still a very real possibility for the fifth-year veteran.

Moore has rotated in at one of the starting safety spots, sharing the playing time with Jonathan Owens and Rudy Ford. However, it appears Ford is falling behind in the competition, leaving just Moore and Owens to compete for the gig.

Moore has never started more than eight games in any one season, but could be the Packers’ best option. It’s unlikely he’ll ever be on a team with such a weak safety room, giving him the perfect opportunity to ignite his career.
