Packers In Defensive Spotlight: All The Safeties

Green Bay is facing an urgent need to find solutions at the safety position, and time is of the essence.

While Darnell Savage is a staple in one of the starting roles, his recent performance leaves room for improvement. Coming off a challenging season, he enters the final year of his contract, aiming to not only secure his starting position within the Packers but also to display his capabilities for potential suitors across the league in his upcoming contract negotiations.

In the adjacent slot, the Packers have been experimenting with a rotation of Rudy Ford, Jonathan Owens, Tarvarius Moore, and even seventh-round rookie Anthony Johnson. Yet, no clear frontrunner has emerged thus far. The collective safety unit must rise to the occasion, recognizing that all eyes are on them, waiting to witness who will step up and seize the opportunity.
