The Green Bay Packers had an exciting preseason opener against the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday night, as they prevailed 36-19.

Green Bay showcased a plethora of young players who made exciting plays throughout the night. In case you were busy elsewhere to start your weekend, I have you covered with all of the highlights from Green Bay’s thrilling victory.

Jordan Love missed a wide-open Luke Musgrave on a crosser that ended the Packers’ first offensive possession, but Love recouped for the second series and led the team down the field. He finished the game 7-for-10 for a modest 46 yards but did throw the following touchdown to end his night.

Here are all of your Green Bay Packers highlights in their preseason victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday night.

Sean Clifford took over from there and basically played the rest of the way. He had some ups and downs, finishing 20-for-26 for 208 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Rookie Jayden Reed helped him on the first possession, going UP for this reception and hauling it in.

The Packers put the ball in the endzone on that first possession with Clifford at the helm, going 79 yards on eight plays and taking a 14-3 lead. It was capped thanks to a Tyler Goodson touchdown.

One of Clifford’s picks went for six for the Bengals. Sean Rhyan got absolutely annihilated, making this throw a lot harder than Green Bay wanted it to be. Ultimately, the defender stepped right in front of the receiver, picked it off and housed it with ease.

Overall, Clifford had his ups and downs, but showcased the moxy he was known for at Penn State. He made some plays with his feet and his arm, and displayed enough intrigue to continue developing for the long term.

One of the stars of the night was running back Emanuel Wilson. He finished with six carries for 111 yards and two touchdowns, with a long of 80 yards. His first touchdown was a nice display of patience and vision, as he navigated the line of scrimmage to find the hole and scamper in from 11 yards out.

His second tuddie showed his homerun ability. After taking the handoff, he cut outside to avoid a Bengals’ defender and then showed another gear as he ran past another defender down the sideline and housed an 80-yard touchdown.
