Defensive Line: Karl Brooks

The entire defensive line has been impressive, but we will give the nod to Karl Brooks. A sixth-round pick in 2023, Brooks didn’t have high expectations entering the season. However, he’s shown some nice glimpses of inside push and could be a nice rotational piece for the line in 2023.

Inside Linebackers: Tariq Carpenter

Tariq Carpenter is on a bit of a positional adventure, now testing his chops at inside linebacker, and it seems the pieces are falling into place. Sporting a build reminiscent of De’Vondre Campbell, Carpenter’s still putting together the puzzle of his new gig. During Family Night, he managed to get two interceptions which could be an indication of future success.

Outside Linebackers: Lukas Van Ness

Green Bay is playing the waiting game with Lukas Van Ness, but don’t be surprised if this rookie disruptor accelerates the timeline. Sure, we’re all aware of his pass-rushing wizardry, but what’s really raising eyebrows is his knack for shutting down the run. Van Ness is flashing some serious discipline, locking down his turf and refusing to budge.
