7. Clay Matthews

Clay Matthews continued the tradition of excellent pass-rushers on the Packers’ championship-winning teams while he played for Green Bay from 2009 to 2018. During his time, he racked up 83.5 sacks and 482 tackles while also making six Pro Bowls and one All-Pro team.

Known for his motor, Matthews played sideline to sideline and never gave up. One of the coldest moments in NFL history happened during the Super Bowl when his position coach Kevin Greene told him, “It is time” during a mid-game pep talk. Not long after, Matthews forced a fumble that altered the game in Green Bay’s favor.

6. Willie Davis

Willie Davis is another elite defensive end/pass rusher that blesses us with his presence at number six–making it four of our first five defenders at the outside linebacker or defensive end position.

Davis could easily be a lot higher on this list, as he built a strong case. During ten years with the Packers from 1960 to 1969, he amassed 99.5 sacks, five Pro Bowls and five All Pros. He also helped Green Bay win five championships and two Super Bowls during his tenure.
