Can Romeo Doubs Become Mr. Reliable?

While the intense battle for the slot position ensues, Doubs will focus on his development as an outside receiver. He burst onto the scene unexpectedly during last year’s training camp and preseason, leaving the team in awe of his abilities. Although he experienced a slight slowdown during the regular season, he showcased remarkable chemistry with Jordan Love during Organized Team Activities and Minicamp.

As Love takes on the starting quarterback role, he will undoubtedly need a go-to receiver. Doubs has already displayed a burgeoning connection with his new signal-caller, positioning himself as a reliable target and potential safety valve for Love.

Doubs excels in executing quick-hitting routes like slants and wide-receiver screens. This skill set could make him a favored target for Love, particularly in the early stages of games and the season, where building momentum through efficient completions is crucial. While Doubs may not be the primary deep threat for Green Bay, he has the potential to emerge as the team’s leading receiver in terms of receptions by season’s end.
