With the Green Bay Packers off for a while, Dairyland Express is taking another look at their 90-man roster and ranking every player from worst to first.

We’re moving on up, as we’ve already covered the following rankings:

75. Chuck Filiaga, Guard

The opportunity is there for Chuck Filiaga to make the Packers’ roster. Green Bay could use another quality interior lineman with Sean Rhyan disappearing and Royce Newman getting benched last year. Filiaga has excellent size for the position at 6-foot-6 and 321 pounds. He isn’t the most athletic player despite testing reasonably well. He’ll have to find a mean streak and get better at driving defensive players off the ball.

We are ranking every single player on the Green Bay Packers’ 90-man roster this offseason, continuing with spots 75 through 71.

74. Austin Allen, Tight End

Regarding opportunities, Green Bay’s tight end position is unsettled at the bottom of the depth chart. Austin Allen was an undrafted free agent in 2022 who signed with the Packers in January of 2023. During his final season at Nebraska, he caught 38 receptions for 602 yards, setting tight end receiving records for his school.

73. Jean Delance, Offensive Tackle

Jean Delance originally signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2022 (we’ll forgive him for that) before signing with Green Bay’s practice squad in December. He played his college ball for Florida after transferring from Texas. Although he’s listed as an offensive tackle, he’s probably best suited inside. He’s still working on his fundamentals, but is a nice athlete who could become a decent backup someday.

72. Danny Etling, Quarterback

It will be interesting to see whether Green Bay keeps two or three quarterbacks this year. They’ve traditionally held two, but that was when they had a surefire Hall of Famer at the top of their depth chart. There is more uncertainty this year. Etling was a seventh-round draft pick of the New England Patriots back in 2018 and has stuck around the NFL, spending time on the practice squads of the Patriots, Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings. He signed with the Packers in January of 2022.

71. Bo Melton, Wide Receiver

Bo Melton is on the outside looking in regarding the final wide receiver spot. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft to the Seahawks and was signed to the Packers’ active roster in December. He’s a high I.Q. football player with average size, skills, and athleticism.
