Devonte Wyatt

Devonte Wyatt received limited opportunities during his rookie campaign despite underwhelming results from some of the defensive linemen ahead of him. That was a surprising development for the first-round pick, who was already 24 during his rookie campaign.

There shouldn’t be any excuses this season. Jarran Reed and Dean Lowry left in free agency, opening plenty of playing time for Wyatt and TJ Slaton.

Slaton got the starting nod in the nickel formation during minicamp, while Wyatt started in the 3-4 base. Wyatt needs to figure a way onto the field during all situations and provide Kenny Clark with the support he desperately needs.
