We’re officially in a lull in the NFL offseason. The Green Bay Packers completed Organized Team Activities (OTAs) and minicamp and don’t have to report back for team activities until training camp at the end of July.

The good news for you is that the break doesn’t mean we can’t continue to assess what we’ve seen so far this offseason and where the team is.

The Packers are looking for significant contributions from many new faces this season. Some they’ll get. Others will be disappointing. There’s a lot of work left to do, but these five Packers have increased their stock heading into training camp.

After a strong offseason, these five players on the Green Bay Packers are seeing their stock rise heading into training camp at the end of July.

Carrington Valentine, Cornerback

There’s still no timetable for Eric Stoke’s return. Even when he returns, he’ll have to earn playing time and is best suited as an outside cornerback.

Meanwhile, a battle rages in the slot. Keisean Nixon is the favorite, but he’s far from a proven defender. Carrington Valentine, a seventh-round pick out of Kentucky in this year’s draft, made some noise in OTAs and minicamp. He’ll continue to push Nixon and others for playing time in the nickel and dime defenses.
