The Green Bay Packers are officially moving through their offseason workout schedule with their three-day mandatory minicamp on the calendar from June 13th through June 15th.

They recently completed their third and final week of Organized Team Activities (OTAs). We saw a glimpse of their work through the three media days the team made available. After the minicamp, the team won’t be together until training camp at the end of July.

That said, here are five questions we’d like to see Green Bay begin to answer during their mandatory minicamp.

Here are five questions we would like the Green Bay Packers to begin to answer during their three-day mandatory minicamp.

How will the wide receiver depth chart stack up?

We know Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs are sitting at the top, but how will the rest play out? Jayden Reed and Samori Toure project to battle for the WR3 spot, a significant role in Green Bay’s offense. Dontayvion Wicks, a 2023 fifth-round pick, will have every chance to earn the WR5 spot. That leaves another battle for the sixth and potentially final WR spot, including Grant DuBose, Bo Melton, Jeff Cotton and Malik Heath. Hopefully, we begin to get a semblance of order.

How will the young tight ends progress?

I keep waiting for the Packers to announce they’re bringing back Marcedes Lewis. Lewis seems like the perfect player to mentor young tight ends, Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave. Without him on the roster, the two rookies, Josiah Deguara and Tyler Davis, are the top guys at the position. If it stays that way, Musgrave and Kraft will be asked to contribute a lot during their rookie campaigns–a tall task for tight ends.

How will the right side of the offensive line play out?

The left side of the Packers’ line is set with David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins. There are more question marks at center with Josh Myers and right tackle. Zach Tom should play a prominent role at one of those spots, but which one? Yosh Nijman will earn the starting right tackle spot if he slides to the middle. There are a few possibilities about which starters the Packers could roll with.

Will a safety begin to stand out?

The Packers have a bunch of mediocre talent at safety, making their decision to land on a starter much more difficult. Darnell Savage appears to be the unquestioned starter at one spot–a scary thought in its own right. A battle is next to him that includes Tarvarius Moore, Rudy Ford and Jonathan Owens. Will someone step up?

How will Jordan Love progress?

How fans and analysts view the Packers’ 2023 season when it’s all said and done will depend on the play of Jordan Love. He had some good moments in OTAs, but it’s clear there will be a drop-off in talent from last year’s starter. He has some mechanical issues to work through that can affect his ability to throw a good, clean ball. We’ll get another glimpse at his development this week.
