As the Green Bay Packers continue to progress through their offseason workouts, here are three positive signs from their third and final open OTA.
Offensive Rookies stood out: Luke Musgrave, Jayden Reed and Sean Clifford
Green Bay expects a lot from their rookies this season, and the class is off to a good start in practice. Luke Musgrave found his way into this column for the second OTA and had another solid practice. He was rolled out as the starting tight end, with Josiah Deguara used as a sort of fullback.
When the Packers went to three wide receivers, second-round pick Jayden Reed was the starting slot receiver. With Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs on the outside, that seems like the logical spot for him.
Surprise fifth-round pick Sean Clifford continues to make noise and should be the lead candidate for the primary backup quarterback spot behind Jordan Love. He executed a two-minute drill to perfection and was accurate with his throws all practice long.
