Positive signs from Packers second open OTA: Doubs-Love connection

Christian Watson might be the Packers’ most explosive wide receiver, but Romeo Doubs could be the team leader in receptions when 2023 is said and done.

Doubs will control the middle of the field and provide quarterback Jordan Love with intermediate routes and quick catches. We saw some of that on Tuesday when he caught four receptions from Love during a two-minute drill. It seems the two are already developing a good connection.

Love had an up-and-down day, but flashed some more positive signs. According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, Love completed 15 of his 21 passes with one interception, one dropped interception and one overthrow on what should’ve been a touchdown.
