Packers with money on the line: Yosh Nijman

Yosh Nijman has been a luxury for the Packers the last couple of seasons. He’s turned into a versatile swing tackle who can play on either the left or right sides. Whether he stays in that role or earns himself a promotion is up to him this season.

Nijman’s services will be wanted next year, considering his ability to play either left or right tackle. But if he wants a massive payday, he’ll need to take the next step in his development and prove he’s a starting-caliber player.

He had some struggles last year, forcing the Packers to replace him with rookie Zach Tom at right tackle. He’s on a one-year deal as a restricted free agent and will hit the market with a chance of a nice payday. Just how nice will be up to him.
