X-factors on Packers: David Bakhtiari

Speaking of health, David Bakhtiari finally returned to the field last season after struggling with an ACL recovery that lasted far too long. It was nice to see his hard work pay off.

If he can play all 17 games this season and return to his All-Pro form, it would give Green Bay a massive anchor at left tackle. Bakhtiari would be able to team up with Elgton Jenkins at left guard and provide elite stability for new starting quarterback Jordan Love.

That stability would also allow the Packers to determine the proper mixture at center, right guard and right tackle. Josh Myers, Jon Runyan, Zach Tom and Yosh Nijman project to be in the mix for the starting spots. Bakhtiari’s anchor could help stabilize a critical unit to the offense’s success.
