The Green Bay Packers are very early in their process of determining which players will have significant roles on their reformed team next season.

They just completed their first set of Organized Team Activities and have more in the coming months and a mandatory training camp. That will be the first step in helping head coach Matt LaFleur determine what he has in this young group of players.

With a slew of veterans gone, Green Bay will turn to some unknowns and young players to step into more prominent roles. Here are five x-factors for the Packers this summer.

Here are five x-factors that will play a significant role for the Green Bay Packers as they head into their summer workouts.

X-factors on Packers: Health

The Packers need to ensure they get through the summer workouts without any significant injuries. Green Bay is already thin at several positions across the depth chart and can’t afford any more hits. Health should always be a priority, but more so than ever this year.

It will also be important to monitor the recoveries of Eric Stokes and Rashan Gary. When healthy, Stokes gives them a trio of reliable cornerbacks. They’re one short without him. Gary is a game-wrecker. Green Bay’s defense took a hit when he went down last season. Although they drafted Lukas Van Ness in the first round, Gary is a proven star and can flip the script.
