Packers who need to right the ship: Eric Stokes

Stokes had a solid rookie campaign, earning a starting cornerback spot opposite Jaire Alexander. Unfortunately, he followed that up with a dud of a sophomore performance that ended prematurely due to a significant leg injury.

Stokes is still recovering from that injury and hopes to be ready in time for training camp. When he returns, he’ll have to earn playing time once again. Alexander and Rasul Douglas are starting on the outside, with Keisean Nixon playing the slot.

Stokes is a 2021 first-round pick–one of eight first-round picks on this defense. Green Bay has a significant issue with their drafting process if he isn’t talented enough to regain a starting spot once he’s fully healthy.
