Packers with uncertain futures: Sean Rhyan

Due to only playing one snap in his rookie season (and on special teams, nonetheless), it’s almost as challenging to find a picture of the 2022 third-round pick as it is to predict his future.

Green Bay was extra patient with 2021 third-rounder Amari Rodgers and lasted a whopping season and a half. What will happen with Rhyan, who couldn’t even make it on the field during his rookie campaign?

If Rhyan doesn’t show out during OTAs, training camp and preseason, he could be in real danger of being cut before his second season. Green Bay is trying him at center, hoping to spark either him or third-year pro Josh Myers. We’ll see what Rhyan is made of and if he’s cut out for the NFL.
