Head coaches Bucks should avoid: Mark Jackson

The Athletic’s Shams Charania dropped the ugly news that Milwaukee is interviewing ESPN’s Mark Jackson for their head coaching job.

Jackson is the infamous coach who was at the helm of the Golden State Warriors right before they fired him, hired Steve Kerr and immediately turned into a dynasty. He did help Golden State develop into a good team, but it was clear he didn’t have what it took to get them to the next level.

He’s been out of the coaching game since 2014, calling games from the broadcast booth instead. A lot can happen in nine years and it’s easy for the NBA game to pass you up. Other than a big name, I’m not sure why Milwaukee would be interested in his services.
