Head coaches Bucks should avoid: Frank Vogel

The good news is Vogel is an NBA-Championship winning head coach, having led the Los Angeles Lakers to the title in 2020. He has 88 games of head coaching experience in the postseason with a 49-39 record. He also has experience coaching and scheming for a generational athlete.

The bad news is he’s been fired three times as a head coach in his career and only lasted three years with the Lakers despite winning the NBA Finals.

I’m not sure what he would bring to the table that would unlock Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks’ offense in the postseason. He’s lacked creativity in the past and doesn’t inspire a ton of confidence as a coaching candidate. He’s currently unemployed.
