With the Green Bay Packers 2023 schedule out for a bit now, we’ve been able to digest and analyze it from all angles (for better or worse). Hey, what else is there to do following the NFL draft?

Green Bay will have the opportunity to build up their young players and get them off to a fast start. That could be incredibly important both for the upcoming season and the long run.

With the future up in the air following the Aaron Rodgers’ trade, here are five pivotal games that will define the Packers’ upcoming season.

Pivotal games to define Packers’ season: Week 1 at Chicago Bears

There are a lot of unanswered questions about Jordan Love, the offense’s young playmakers and Joe Barry’s underperforming defense. Although we won’t get complete answers after just one game, it will go a long way toward guiding where the answer will fall.

The Bears had one of the worst defenses (and teams) last year and this could be a nice welcome-to-the-NFL game for Love. He should be able to carve them up and light up the scoreboard in his first game as a full-time starting quarterback. If he can’t, we should all be worried.
