Packers: 5 most important offensive players heading into offseason workouts
Packers most important offensive players: Christian Watson
Watson got off to a slow start to his rookie year, first struggling with injuries and then battling drops. Although he had injuries on and off throughout most of his first year, he eventually improved his hands as the season went on. He can’t afford the same slow start in Year 2.
Green Bay is looking to Watson as their lead playmaker at the wide receiver position. He leads an extremely young group of guys and is already one of the most experienced players on the depth chart. It’s imperative he stays healthy and on the practice field to lead by example and build his rapport with Love.
