Ranking 15 Packers 25-and-under with biggest potential
The Green Bay Packers are experiencing a youth movement, adding 13 draft picks and transitioning to a much younger roster. That doesn’t always equate to talent, but Green Bay is both young and bursting with potential.
With so many young options to choose from, I widdled the list down to the top 15 Packers who are 25 years old or younger and have the highest ceilings. The future is bright for these players.
15. Dontayvion Wicks
Wicks kicks off this list and is not yet 22 years old. The fifth-round pick from this year’s class has an opportunity to become wide receiver 4 for Green Bay this year and make an immediate impact as a rookie. He can make great cuts by mixing up speeds and angles, but has to clean up the details. If he can improve his route-running and hands, he could become a nice third-receiving option on the Packers.
Here are the 15 members on the Green Bay Packers who are 25-and-under and have the biggest potential to turn into star players.
14. Colby Wooden
With time, Colby Wooden can develop into a starting defensive lineman for the Packers. That’s solid quality from a fourth-round pick. He uses quickness, speed and a great first step to gain an advantage on his opponents. He can also play multiple spots on the line. He could be a steal if he can add muscle to his frame.
13. AJ Dillon
Dillon is better than some of the players on this list, but he might’ve peaked. He’s one of the oldest at 25, and took a step back in Year 3. On paper, he blends power with quick, nimble feet. However, he hasn’t put it all together and might be done growing.
