Packers whose jobs are in danger following Draft: Danny Etling

Quarterback is a massive question mark entering the Packers’ 2023 season. Not only are there questions about whether Jordan Love will prove to be a worthy starter, but it’s unclear who his backup will be (and whether they can play).

Danny Etling was the only other quarterback on the roster entering the draft, but now finds himself in a competition with fifth-round selection Sean Clifford. Clifford is a brilliant, but athletically limited quarterback out of Penn State. The two will battle it out for the backup job and we’ll see if the Packers keep three quarterbacks on the roster during the season.
