Bold prediction for Packers in 2023 NFL Draft: Green Bay doesn’t add wide receiver until third round

With Smith-Njigba off the board before the Packers pick and Green Bay drafting a tight end in the first round, I predict they’ll wait until the third round to select a wide receiver.

Green Bay must address many other needs, including safety, outside linebacker, defensive line, and offensive line. Wide receiver might be one of the biggest, but I don’t know how the board will fall to them on Day 2.

Green Bay’s current starting receivers are Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs. They have very little talent after them and will need to add at least one player at the position early. I hope it’s earlier than the third, but we’ll see what happens.
