Bold prediction for Packers in 2023 NFL Draft: Green Bay completes Aaron Rodgers trade after Day 1

The Packers are still trying to work out a trade of Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets. Both sides remained committed to a deal, even if they haven’t agreed to terms.

Expect the deal to happen after the first day of the draft, when both teams are feeling the pressure.

New York has the 13th overall pick, as well as the 42nd and 43rd selections that fall in the second round. Green Bay would love at least one of those picks and a future first-round pick. We’ll see what the deal ends up being. However, I feel they will get 42 or 43 heading into Day 2 of the NFL draft.
