The 2023 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, with the first round set to kick off on Thursday, April 27th. And it’s anybody’s guess what the Green Bay Packers will do.

The Packers are a wildcard in this year’s draft, as they could stay put, trade down or even trade up. Even if they stay at 15th overall, there’s no telling what they’ll do with their top selection.

That’s what I’m here for. I pulled out the ol’ Crystal Ball and will make five bold predictions about what lies ahead for the Packers in this year’s draft.

Here are five bold predictions about what the Green Bay Packers will do in the 2023 NFL Draft, including an Aaron Rodgers prophecy.

Bold prediction for Packers in 2023 NFL Draft: Green Bay trades down in first round

My colleague Paul Bretl has made a convincing case about why the Packers should trade down in the draft, including details about whom they should do it with. That’s too hard to ignore and I feel Green Bay will trade down. Jaxon Smith-Njigba would be the only reason they stay put, and I predict he’ll go at 12th overall to the Houston Texans. If he’s gone, Green Bay might as well recoup an extra pick.
