Green Bay Packers’ general manager Brian Gutekunst can be unpredictable in the first round of NFL Drafts. He’s traded up, he’s traded down (sometimes both in the same draft), and he’s often grabbed a player that wasn’t on other’s radars.

Everything is on the board for the Packers this year (although they might have a stronger case to trade down and grab an extra pick or two in the process).

If they decide to trade up, there are several exciting prospects worth the price tag. Here are three prime candidates.

If the Green Bay Packers want to trade up in the 2023 NFL Draft, it will likely be for one of these three prospects who will go before 15th overall.

First-round draft prospects Packers could trade up for: Peter Skoronski, OL, Northwestern

Skoronski already has Packer connections with his grandfather, but his style of play fits perfectly in Green Bay as well. He played tackle in college and could eventually play that position in the NFL if the team that selects him feels his short arms aren’t a deterrent.

Otherwise, he’s ready to start at either guard spot or at center from Day 1. That versatility is attractive, and he will have a starting spot somewhere along the offensive line regardless of who drafts him.
