Prospects Packers hope fall: Lukas Van Ness, Edge

I touched on it briefly on the last page, but the Packers desperately need to add depth on the edge. Kingsley Enagbare was impressive during his rookie year, but he needs some more time to develop into a starting role.

Lukas Van Ness brings excellent versatility to the table. He can line up at outside linebacker, but also slide inside to help along the defensive line. Green Bay certainly needs help at both positions and welcomes the flexibility with open arms.

Van Ness still needs some seasoning on the field, especially when it comes to his pass-rushing moves. However, he has the motor to be successful and will immediately improve the Packers’ defensive effort and energy.
