First-Round Draft Prospects to Help Packers and Jordan Love: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Wide Receiver

Finally, back to a more exciting playmaker. One of the best-case scenario prospects for the Packers in this draft may be wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba out of Ohio State.

He compliments Watson and Doubs nicely and would give Green Bay a nice array of young receives. He doesn’t possess the same physical traits as Watson, but does have spectacular hands. That’s a welcoming trait considering the drop concerns with the other young receivers on the Packers’ roster.

Smith-Njigba did miss most of last season with a hamstring injury, a cause for concern for any team looking to draft him. However, he does a great job of understanding defenses and building rapport with quarterbacks. He would give the Packers a nice trio of young receivers with bright futures.
