The Green Bay Packers have so many needs to address in the 2023 NFL Draft, there’s no telling which way they’ll go with their first-round pick. One likely possibility is to provide Jordan Love with some much-needed help.

As it stands, Green Bay sports three second-year pros in Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs and Samori Toure at the top of their wide receiver depth chart. Tight end is even worse, with Josiah Deguara leading the way. It’s safe to say the Packers need more weapons for their fourth-year quarterback.

With limited resources at the Packers’ disposal, let’s check out five prospects who Green Bay should target with their first-round selection that will greatly help Love succeed in his first year as the starter.

Here are five prospects who should be available in the first-round of the 2023 NFL Draft that will help the Green Bay Packers and Jordan Love.

First-Round Draft Prospects to Help Packers and Jordan Love: Jalin Hyatt, Wide Receiver

It’s not uncommon for general manager Brian Gutekunst to nab a player in the first round whom many analysts didn’t have projected until later on. And when he does so, it’s for an elite athlete.

Hyatt certainly fits that category with a 9.48 Relative Athletic Score (out of 10); his only physical knocks are his size (6-foot and 176 pounds). He’s fast (4.4-second 40-yard dash) and explosive (40-inch vertical jump) and could add a vertical and horizontal threat to Matt LaFleur’s offense. He will need some time to add muscle and develop his route-running, but he has great potential. Gutenkunst recently attended Tennessee’s pro day as well.
