Priority Free Agents for Packers: Parris Campbell, Wide Receiver
Wide receiver is another position Green Bay will need to add to this offseason. It’s not a great class in free agency or the draft, but some quality candidates are still available.
With Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb hitting unrestricted free agency, the Packers might let them walk and find their dough elsewhere. That would fill a massive gap in the veteran department, as Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs would be second-year players at the top of the depth chart.
Campbell is another high-risk, high-reward player. He only played in 15 games in his first three seasons before playing all 17 for the Indianapolis Colts last year. However, he reminded us of his former second-round potential when he caught 63 passes for 623 yards and three touchdowns. He won’t be a superstar, but he could become a solid receiver in Green Bay.
