Priority Free Agents for Packers: Julian Love, Safety

Love is another safety who would fit well in Green Bay, allowing them to go multiple directions at the position. Adrian Amos and Rudy Ford are unrestricted free agents and general manager Brian Gutekunst didn’t talk like he expected them to return. Darnell Savage is entering the final year of his career and didn’t exactly inspire confidence last season.

Love can play as the deep safety, up near the line of scrimmage, or in the slot. That will allow Green Bay to keep their options open when it comes to filling the other spot in the secondary. He’s inconsistent at times, but has shown the ability to be a willing tackler.
