All signs point toward the Green Bay Packers trading Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets.

Multiple reports continue to surface from diverse sources, all indicating Green Bay is ready to move on from the four-time MVP and trade him to the Jets in the process. That would be a franchise-altering move that would signal Green Bay’s readiness to hand over the keys to Jordan Love.

The Jets have likely lost all of their leverage to drive down the price for Rodgers in any trade. Derek Carr signed with the Saints, Tom Brady retired, and no better quarterback fits what they want to accomplish than Rodgers. Given all of that, here are three realistic trades the Packers and Jets could make involving Rodgers.

With all signs pointing toward the Green Bay Packers trading Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets, here are three realistic trade offers.

Packers Aaron Rodgers trade offer to Jets: The Elijah Moore One

Green Bay’s minimum asking price will probably be a first-round pick, and the Jets hold the 13th overall selection in this year’s draft. Peter King reported they are asking for two first-round selections, but that seems like a very steep price. Regardless, the Packers will continue pushing the envelope and try to get back as much as possible.

Green Bay doesn’t quite hit the two first-round pick threshold in this iteration, but they do get the 13th overall pick in this year’s draft, a 2024 third-rounder, and wide receiver Elijah Moore. This year’s draft class is underwhelming at the wide receiver position and Green Bay needs to continue adding talent to their wide receiver corps. Moore hasn’t lived up to expectations, but a change in scenery could be helpful. His cap hit is also very low.
