Prospects who rose up Packers’ draft rankings at Scouting Combine: Jaxon Smith-Njigba
Smith-Njigba only played three games last season because of a hamstring injury and has some work to do to keep his first-round draft projection.
He wasn’t a full participant at the combine, refusing to run the 40-yard dash. He’ll do that at Ohio State’s combine, instead. He did look smooth on the field, however, as he was catching every ball that came his way.
His quickness also jumped off the charts. He had a 3.93-second short settle and 6.57-second three-cone drill. He could be the draft’s top wide receiver.
