Prospects who rose up Packers’ draft rankings at Scouting Combine: Zay Flowers

Now, on to the wide receivers. The Packers will likely add to their wide receiver room early and often in this year’s class. Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs have bright futures, but there is a need to continue adding talent. Allen Lazard and Randal Cobb are unrestricted free agents and their future in Green Bay is murky at best.

Flowers is a YAC beast and showed off his potential at the combine. He showed off 4.42-second 40-yard dash, squashing any concerns about his speed. The biggest surprise was his hands. He sometimes dropped catchable balls in college, but that wasn’t an issue at the combine. He was catching everything and showed off great hands. That’s a huge boost and should cement his place in the bottom part of the first round.
