Prospects who rose up Packers’ draft rankings at Scouting Combine: Brandon Hill

Sticking with safety, Hill is another player Green Bay could target with a Day 2 pick.

He did fine in the testing categories: Posting a 4.43-second 40-yard dash, 35 1/2-inch vertical jump and 10-foot-3-inch broad jump. Those numbers might not be elite enough to warrant Green Bay drafting him, but his on-field work in the drills caught our attention.

He showed off great hands and the ability to go up and snag the ball in the air. His ability to catch passes far outside of his radius was impressive. He should excel in zone coverage, something the Packers currently run a lot of.
